As a UX/UI Designer at KOMMUNA MEDIA, you will design websites and landing pages that balance visual appeal, functionality, and conversion goals. You will use Figma as your primary tool to create modern, intuitive, user-centered interfaces, supported by Adobe Creative Suite for graphic elements. Additionally, your content writing skills will ensure that every design is accompanied by clear, persuasive, and strategic copy, creating comprehensive and effective digital experiences.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design websites and landing pages using Figma as the primary design tool.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and final designs following UX/UI best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure designs meet strategic goals.
- Write microcopy and persuasive content to enhance user experience and optimize conversions.
- Conduct user research and apply findings to improve functionality and interface design.
- Iterate on designs based on usability testing and feedback from users and clients.
- Design and produce graphic elements in Adobe Creative Suite to complement digital interfaces.
- Ensure consistency in design and content, maintaining brand identity and tone.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in UX/UI design, especially in creating websites and landing pages.
- Proficiency in Figma as the primary design tool.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Ability to create visually appealing and functional experiences with a user-focused approach.
- Experience in writing microcopy and content for conversions.
- Ability to interpret user research data and apply it to interface design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Experience/Skills
- Familiarity with user-centered design methodologies (Design Thinking, Lean UX).
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to collaborate with developers.
- Experience with analytics tools such as Hotjar or Google Analytics.
- Expertise in responsive design and digital accessibility best practices (WCAG).
- Experience implementing design systems and creating reusable components.
